Yes, the overall weight is a tad lighter than my green dial Laureato. I found the sound is as smooth, light and crisp as my other timepieces with gold rotor. The sound closest to this skeleton that I can compare with is the JLC 772 caliber on my world timer. No knocking noise noticed at all. Marc, g
