A. Lange & Söhne: Just wanted to say hi to the Datograph club

When I first saw the Datograph I fell in love... and never left that feeling since! No other serially produced watch does it for me, save perhaps the Gronefeld 1941 Remontoire. I think it would be a worthy addition to the Dato collection! What do you think?

Audemars Piguet: Sadly it is sweep minutes, not jump

They had 20 years to respond to the Datograph and clearly decided it wasn't worth it.

A. Lange & Söhne: Surprised everyone is so harsh with this one

I quite like it, especially in daylight. Lange does not really do 'greyscale' dials, and the smoked sapphire is a far more legible option than clear sapphire (cough holy trinity...). Think of it as Lange's approach to a skeletonized watch.
