Wow, blown away. Gorgeous piece!

I'm OCD too... I do 2 things, (1) I play a little game called "well, at least the dial and movement look pristine in there", and (2) I remind myself that between servicing and the fact that replacement parts don't break the bank as much as you'd think for AP, you can always get the new look back.

I'm not following this, maybe I'm missing something. While you may not be able to see the true color of the orange, but you'd certainly be able to distinguish the lightness of the orange very easily from the surrounding black of the dial -- and isn't that all that matters? You can enjoy the true ora

Everything about this watch is exactly as I'd hoped. You do have to make sure the size works for you, as it definitely wears larger than the 39mm chronos. But, in my opinion, the 39mm chronos wore a little too small on my wrist.

The incredibly sharp edges and perfectly flat surfaces make ROs show their scratches a bit more than do other brands that have more rounded shapes/finishes, as far as I can tell. I think the main thing is that the sharp edges on an RO get little dings over time, most of which only show under certain

2 all-star pieces. I think you should walk around with one on each wrist!

If I had to pick 1 "ideal" royal oak, i too would pick the new 15202. Wish i had one..
