Jaeger-LeCoultre: really?

I had seen it posted in another forum that for about 30 minutes following an alarm indicator that the hammer would subtly strike the chime as you moved around. Apparently on the most current model they installed a brake to prevent this. But I heard that the longevity on the brake is suspect.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: any short/long term issue with hammer brake?

Blomman, et al - I have heard issues that the brake on the hammer will unequivocally "go" within a couple of months and the watch will clang around when your wrist moves. Any longer term reports from you on this? Or have you heard this from others? Thanks...I am considering this one, but was curious
