The patina was what initially drew me to this piece. To an outsider, this might not draw the same amount of attention compared to other more 'bling' options from Rolex, but those in the watch lovers community can appreciate how special this example is.

Rolex: Santa came early this year..

Presenting my new (to me) Rolex Explorer ref. 14270 which arrived just yesterday. It is an X series which means it's manufactured in my birth year (1991) and also comes complete with box, papers and hang tags. The case condition isn't perfect but the tritium on the dial and hands has started to pati
