I am the owner of 424 date. It is a beautiful watch, but with time you'll get pissed about date window. Yes, it's functional, but I suggest you the one without date. I hate the fact Panerai stamp "8 days" on the dial. Once I see "automatic" or "8 days" sign I turn away. Both of your choices are not
