in the $400's - small investment but in my opinion the Bathyscaphe was practically made for NATO, so it gives you flexibility. Especially since I would recommend to avoid removing the spring bars that could easily scratch the lugs.

Good decision, great shots! While the sailcloth is the perfect companion to the flagship Fifty Fathoms. It seems like the Bathyscaphe was literally made for the NATO strap. Enjoy!
Hands down, the Blancpain. Don't give up on the Bathyscaphe before you try it with the NATO strap. It takes the watch to another level. Also, no offense to the YM fans here, but there's way too much writing on the dial - At this price category, it better be "superlative" and "officially certified".
