Independents: So lovely, front and back

The symmetry on both sides is very appealing.

Horological Meandering: I have a soft spot for Timex Ironmans, especially well-worn examples

Inherited one from my father, and it's my cheapest and most precious watch.

Rolex: I think nice quartz watches are underrated

Lots to like when a brand takes the time and effort to do things right, with attention to detail. I am thinking of getting one of those instead of my 36mm Turn-O-Graph.

Patek Philippe: Great pics thanks for sharing

How legible are the hour/minute hands in real life? Looks compromised based on the pics, but I know it's often very different in the real world.

Patek Philippe: Yes please to an of 'em

But of all the Patek Perpetual Chronos, I have a soft spot for the 3970 (white metal, black dial, no diamonds, if I am allowed to be picky). And for my wrist the smaller size still works.

Automotive: I am sure it was an awesome trip

Had an E46 M3 over 20 years ago, and I still miss it. Owned a bunch of cars since, and none got under my skin like the E46 did.

TimeOut: I love the idea of personal rings

But for me personally, I never wear any rings. I am sure I'd get used to it, but it does not feel right. Not even a wedding band. Mrs gave me a watch instead for our wedding bless her
