Horological Meandering: Funny how sometimes you yearn for things of yesteryear...

Funny how things that one may have seen eons ago sometimes etch themselves in your mind, and one day magically re-surface to remind you of their existence. I was on the prowl to find No. 6 below, and the usual suspects turned up...UN, Bell&Ross, B&M. Then one day, I keyed in Big Date Dual Time on Go

Horological Meandering: Thanks All!

Hi there, thanks so much for all the well wishes. Our friends and family have certainly been intrigued by my choice of 2 Explorers for a 10th anniversary. Anyways, now that I've got a "Crown" for this achievement, time to start looking for my next two timezone watch...perhaps something to "merely lo

Horological Meandering: Finally a reason to put up my 2nd Post : )

It's now 8 months after my first post. Finally two reasons to break the silence... If you're wondering why two of the same at one go...this acquistion commemorates another milestone - my 10th wedding anniversary! Black for me and white for my other half : )

Horological Meandering: The shortlist (updated)

Forgot to include another one of my hopefuls...the Grand Seiko GMT SBGM001. Gosh...the pursuit of happiness sure is tough. Dual Time with Big Date - Baume et Mercier Hampton Square - Bell & Ross BR 03-51 - Ulysse Nardin GMT Perpetual - probably beyond my means Second Time Zone on Bezel - Rolex Explo

Horological Meandering: As for the Panerai GMT

Hi Amanico, The Arktos looks great. I was also thinking along the lines of this PAM. Understand it was one of their earlier GMTs.

Horological Meandering: The shortlist...

I'm always on the lookout for new presentations of the dual time function, but the current crop of out-of-this-world case designs sometimes leaves me with mixed feelings. Right now I spend most of my time pondering over these models: Dual Time with Big Date - Baume et Mercier Hampton Square - Bell &
