Cartier:

Yes I think it looks like an "F" Watch should arrive this Friday and I'll take better pics.

Cartier:

Thanks! I was worried about the unusual Cartier script on the case back. Any idea on what decade it could be from, 1970s? I can post more pictures when I receive the watch in hand.

Cartier: Cartier Tortue feedback

Hi all, I'm seeking some assistance on a Cartier Tortue watch I bought from a consignment site. The caseback Cartier script is not one I’ve seen before. And I see a JC stamp but thought those were for London watches? The Cartier font on the dial looks smaller than one's I'm accustomed to seeing, and

Rolex: Thanks for the inputs!

Rather than regret it as I wasn't 100% sure, I've decided to hold on to it. A dealer offered a clean 16528 watch only for my 16520 + $1K.

Rolex: Thanks for the warm welcomes

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I’ve been collecting for about 10 years. Just when I think I’m done, another itch comes up. Lately I’ve been considering trading my 16520 for a 16528. In my mind it seems implausible that the 18k version would be about the same value as the SS, but right now that’
