Horological Meandering: Moving shadow

As discussed in another thread, what is impressive to me about this Martin Braun is that the moon is fixed and shadow moves.

Horological Meandering: Love the shadow moon complication

I have never seen a moonphase where the shadow moves. Could be that I don't get out enough but I think that implementation of moonphase is super cool. It is also closer to what is actually happening. Any other Martin Braun's out there?

Horological Meandering: Bought recently

Bought mine recently from a friend who was the original purchaser. Sunrise and Sunset seem to be an uncommon complication; even more uncommon than equation of time but certainly more useful. The moonphase on yours is sublime. The shadow disk is what moves, yes?

I've got the manual wind but I love the rotor. Worth turning the watch over for

Breguet: Shell Cordovan is usually the right answer

I have a couple of the Hodinkee unlined and they are great. Vintage look would fit with the Tradition.

Blancpain: I'm a strap guy

Love the strap - The black rubber strap contrasts nicely with the brushed case and makes the dial pop. Bracelet looks nice too, though.
