That's the thing. Have to see them up close. The Kudoke features some very impressive convex curvature anglage on the balance cock to go with the refined free hand engraving. And that is not to mention the rest of the movement. They are just different with the Kudoke being a bit more inside baseball

Independents: Movements are different.

I don't think you can say one is better finished than the other. Different approaches. I own one of each. The gestalt of the Laine is bolder but better is not something I'd say. Different.

Cannot go wrong with either. Take you time. Here are mine. I'm very keen on a Laine Guilloche too.
