Jaeger-LeCoultre: THanks Blomman

Hi BLomman Thanks very much for the description and picture, it is certainly helpful! For awhile now, I've liked the idea of an 8 day movement for the sheer convenience of it. Couple that with the superb looks of the 875 and the classy nature of this line, and you've got a winning combination. I'm e

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Care to fill me in on the Grande Date Reverso?

I've loved the Grande Date Reverso since it came out, but aside from the aesthetics, never learned much about what makes it "tick". Can the JLC fans here fill me in on the lovely 875 movement, and another features about this watch that makes it more endearing? Also, does JLC stamp or guilloche the d

Patek Philippe: Hands size for cal. 27-460M

Good day! I have an abused 3445 that I purchased a couple years back that needs to be re-cased. Girard Perregaux: thanks Dan!

Hi Dan, Thanks for the input, I appreciate your time! I too love the TV screen case, from an aesthetic standpoint as well as how it fits on my wrist. I hope JR keeps this case shape around, as it has been good to them and the brand. The JR1000 powered watches are also on my radar, as I love most eve

Girard Perregaux: looking at the great offerings from Jean Richard........

Hello again Peter and forum, I've been away for quite some time, as family, kids and work seem to dominate my days. I guess you could say i'm a bit of a "purist" by heart, so I've always felt at home here I know that GP has long been proud of producing the watch cases within the SOWIND group, to inc

Breguet: Aeronavale XX

Still fans of this one, considering the XXI seems to have stolen it's thunder? I for one, prefer the XX.
