Automotive: Nice to see an Elise

I still have m 1998 S1 and it still puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel. Such a fun car to drive.

Automotive: Wow

Now that’s a glorious sight, what a collection of amazing cars! I would love to visit Hethel. I got the Elise back on the road this year afte Covid and it’s still great fun to drive. Lots of country lanes round here to enjoy. Thanks for posting the photo, made my Sunday.

Automotive: My favourite colours

Of any F1 car ever. The Lotus type 72 is the one for me and, having heard it on the track too, sounds the utter bees. My Elise officially turned classic car this year, 25 years old and still really fun to drive.

Horological Meandering: I really wish I put my name down for one of these

For me it’s still one of the best looking salmon dials out there, congrats on the pickup.

Blancpain: I would absolutely love a 40mm BP!

However, I ended up with the blue ceramic Bathyscaphe which I absolutely adore - not exactly a wallflower though.

Omega: I’ve never been a fan of gold

but this is spectacular, that olive dial matches so well. I picked up the green speedy 57 recently, which is great, but this one effortlessly blows it away.

Independents: I think this is my favourite indie brand

Does anyone know roughly what the wait time for any of their watches? I’m suspecting quite a while
