Patek Philippe: Green & black?

Are you wearing it on a black rubber? Cool - could you post a pic with the strap? Thought about changing the color for mine, too…

Patek Philippe: Beautiful reference!

Congratulations from another 5230G lover. Btw, during 2019 HK was replaced with Beijing to match the shifts on the political stage.

Patek Philippe: Also my first thought...

... and another part of the odd setting. Because, if you put effort into the whole thing, why not write 2019 but a non-production year?

Patek Philippe: Thanks for all the hints and valuable information…

… I will have the service center here in Shanghai check the watch. Hope it’ll turn out as a spellow or a pre-sale. Both would be fine for me. Will post the outcome whenever there‘ll be news from the SC or PP archives. 🤞🏻

Patek Philippe: Correct…

… indeed. Will try to retrieve more info from the archives. It‘s either a very odd setting or a very early, special piece. Who would put effort into counterfeiting papers to match an existing and legit watch, and make the watch older than it actually is and could ever be??

Patek Philippe: Thanks…

… important information indeed. But the strange thing is the matching reference/ movement/ case numbers with the stated sales date. You would confuse the day maybe, but usually not the year (especially as we are talking warranty here, too). Tiffany &Co on the dial is legit and all the rest is matchi
