Girard Perregaux: Ref 49865

In my opinion the best execution of the wwtc. Dial not too crowded and the hands are gorgeous

Girard Perregaux: F1 048 titanium so well built

Like so many other GPs hard to photograph, but so well made and a joy to wear. Feel this reference in titanium and it’s sibling the F1 047 (in aluminium) are under appreciated. Is it true there were made from melted down Ferrari engines?

Girard Perregaux: Answer

Yes - it’s a composite that combines titanium and carbon. Very light. Watch with strap etc. only weighs 56grams

Girard Perregaux: Thank you!

I ask because I wanted to see the different iterations of the 4930 chronograph during its production. Have my eyes on a rose gold black dial execution but confused as to why some call it the “vintage 45” (which is also the name of a different model all together) Thanks again Micael

Girard Perregaux: GP Yearbooks?

Merry christmas everyone Does anyone know where to find the GP year books online? (the watch catalogue that usually comes with the watch) Was hoping someone might have uploaded them in pdf online. Especially interested in the period 1995-2000 thank you
