The adventures of a blue crosshatch dial

quattro
Avatar
The Patek Philippe ref. 3585 has had multiple variants, among which some had an electric blue textured dial with ‘x-strokes’ or crosshatch or crossed shard-like pattern.

As you will see below, some examples have a dial which has turned tropical. And if you want to see two gorgeous photos of a variant with a sunburst gold dial, check ChristianDK's post from 2020.

The case measures 36 x 42 mm and is 7.4 mm thick. The watch is powered by cal. 350 with bi-directional peripheral rotor and a backwind crown.

Best,
Emmanuel

Do you set it using the crown in back as well?

Fascinating dial. The back crown is interesting - had not  seen that before. I wonder how the comfort is with it in that position.

According to @horology_ancienne, you simply don't feel it! Audemars Piguet's reference 25643 also has a backwind crown: check here .

Many others, of course. Patek's ref. 3569 also. Thanks for sharing.

Love the texture and color of that dial! I’d have to imagine the winder on the back of the case is not comfortable

Well, according to an owner like @horology_ancienne, you don't feel it.

Good to know! What do I know, I’m not an owner after all! Thanks for the input

Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar ref. 5327

quattro
Avatar
Introduced in 2016 , Patek Philippe's Perpetual Calendar ref. 5327 has a 39 x 9,71 mm case and is powered by micro rotor caliber 240 Q. Leaf hands , Breguet numerals , scalloped lugs ... many elements should make it popular and sought after, but it doesn't seem to get all the love it could (should?) get.
