New Speedmaster...

Well, new to me! Oddly enough, my first time owning a newer speedmaster. Batted around with getting a different variant, but it's hard to beat the classic, especially because the color scheme works with so many different straps. I’ve only ever owned vintages and neovintage examples, so owning a newe

Lately, I've been using the 5712A more often for everyday use.

Of course, it’s very comfortable to wear and easy to read, and since it was secondhand, I also had the peace of mind that it would be okay even if it got a little scratched.I remember tha

As foversta puts it, no matter how you look at the competition, the Submariner always has that 'little extra.' For many of us, that's the Rolex myth, the h

Stung hard by the Chopard bee...

I have been trying to avoid this bite for a full year. It finally caught me earlier in the week. I'll bring forth a much better post soon, and hopefully without all the plastic still on the watch.

Grand Seiko 43999 Self-Dater

For those who have one, will you share your thoughts? I bought one which turned out to be a redial. I returned it and now have a line on a very nice original Applied Dial example. Would love to hear your thoughts, both positive and, if any, negative. Thanks.

Being the photog for the Boss who finished the Kona half Triathlon is grueling!

She missed her goal of 6 hours and came in at 6.29 hours, unfortunately started having quad cramps near end of the 56 mile bike ride. This affected her run dramatically , she vomited at mile 4 ( considered quitting but didn’t want a DNF by her name ) and gutted out the 13.1….she is tough as nails! M
