Some live shots of the new Cartier Roadster collection . . .

Although I’ve been into horology since high school, my first true watch in this journey was a Cartier Roadster back in 2003: This was my daily wearer for more than a decade. However, as my collection grew, she had become a ‘safe queen.’ I traded her in 2022: Cartier had discontinued their Roadster c

ATLAS AND THE ABORETUM

While visiting our new granddaughter we took advantage of the fine weather and picnicked in Wrest Park. I’m a coast man used to sea and cliffs, the other half however was in her element. Calatrava 5120/1G-001

A charming and classic dress watch that has a distinctively different look than the 5120G-001 strap variant. Here the dial is opaline with Dauphine hands, faceted markers and an applied dimpled minute track compared to a white dial, stick hands and applied Romans for the strap variant. The bracelet

Moser and AR

Does anyone out there know whether Moser uses anti-reflective coatings on any of their models? My older Venturer Small Seconds doesn’t seem to have any. (If it does, it’s hardly effective, as you can see below.) Given the visual interest generated by Moser dials, I have to wonder what the rationale

One still learns many a new thing about the automotive world even after decades of being in it 😊 Enter my lesson of today, the Aston Martin Atom. Not something you would recognize as a typical Aston but still one of the most, if not the most important car in the brand’s history. Why? In addition to
