Is this perpetual calendar a must-have for any watch collection? A new addition from the final year of production.

I understand how much deserved praise the five link bracelet has received. It is beautiful and has a terrific “on the fly adjustment”. However, for a strap guy it also adds a lot of bulk -mainly from the center links. With those removed -it’s a slimmer feeling Black Bay on 2 piece NATOs I’m trying
