Team,

I'm on a quest to assemble a collection of the Omega Museum watches and this week "i got a call" from my amazing Boutique manager teasing me, as usual.

Arriving at the boutique and there were two boxes, gift packet. One white and relatively small and other black and big.

Opening the smaller box and ...

Omega Museum Collection N° 8: “Racend Timer” was there.

My wife, and strong supporter (and avid watch collector, now I can say), said "Wow! this one we can share":

Here's the beauty:

This Omega is powered by the calibre Omega 3201 that is a hand-winding chronograph movement with column wheel mechanism and Co-Axial escapement.

This movement is also located on the Speesmaster 50th anniversary limited series.

Some references says that's is an incarnation of the Piguet 1285.

Nice, smooth and very accurate, if you ask me.

More pictures:

A traditional B&W: Love the symmetry and the lack of date (hear Omega, hear), along with the white sub dials.

A dial macro shot:

The case back:

Another fantastic Omega jewel on my wrist and I dare to say that's one of my perfect chronographs that I have.

Thanks for seeing.

Cheers,

Nilo

I love this watch! I wish it had a transparent back... Nilo, always enjoy your posts and collection... could you help me know why there is not a transparent back? Enjoy this beauty.

I believe that it don't have a transparent case back, just to maintain consistency among the entire Museum line. Example: Cheers, Nilo

Omega has truly captured the style and feel of a great old dial. They made great choices with this one. The color and texture of the dial, the colors of the inks used, and the details of the applied markers are spot on. Bravo!
