Henry (joenghenry) shares his excitement and initial impressions of the Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5740/1G, a highly anticipated acquisition after a year-long wait. His post highlights the watch's distinctive blue dial and its notable thinness as a perpetual calendar, offering a collector's firsthand perspective on this significant reference.
Dear All,
My AD called me this Thursday that my 5740/1G finally arrived after waiting for 1 yr. Just picked it up today.
The blue dial is completely different from 5712, more vivid in colour. The symmetrical layout is also adorable.
Its also one of the thinnest PC in Patek.
Best,
Henry
