I wouldn't call it a flaw. The case recesses into your wrist and appears thinner than it is whilst you are wearing it. Meanwhile, the lugs spring from the top of the case and do not appear too deep. I'm used to it and love it: German engineering!
... and certainly preferable to have an even larger PT case. It does need some counterbalance so I wear my DS with a PT deployant to create it. Best Andreas
