The honey-colored gold was indeed on my mind but since I could not get the same number as the 1815 MP, I might as well get the older version of the tourbillon - which wasn't a huge difference IMHO. Have yet to figure out what's next Best Sam

Nice acquisition. And I definitely agree, ALS has the best finishing for a 'major brand'. I do believe independents like kari and romain are on par or depending on style even better! Enjoy your 'new' watch!

I saw one in person at the NYC Wempe store once, a few years ago. I love this watch and considered getting one. That piece, and the 1815 Moonphase Homage (mine is still being repaired at the factory), would be my two favorites in your beautiful collection...
