A. Lange & Söhne

A friend was recently looking at this as a possibility to buy...

...and he asked me for a quick rundown (on this and others).

LANGE

410.032 Perpetual Chronograph

An evolution of the original

Cons

— Manual wind…not convenient for PC

— Short (36 hours) power reserve

— Moon a bit small

— Thickness would normally be an issue but not with this many complications

— Chrono functions take precedent over PC function

Pros

— Movement dimension and finishing as good as anybody

— The minute hand of the chronograph jumps in one minute increments rather than continuously moving

— Rare…unlikely to see another one

And this was also considered:

VC

5000T/000R Perpetual Calendar Chronograph

Cons

— Manual wind PC

— Very large diameter

— Thick (12.94mm)

— Small movement, dials/day/date pushed to middle

— 48 hours power reserve…enough?

— Leap year window in odd place

— Resale likely to be poor compared to ALS, PP

Pros

— Lemania-based movement…also used previously by PP but not in-house

— Man-in-moon has character

My .02

Btw, he ended up with the ALS Datograph Lumen but is still searching for a couple of other models, PP included of course : )
