Beware of Antiquorum-

Hello Nico and all,
I did not aware of this post before otherwise I will stay away from Antiquorum in the recent Geneva auction on 14th May 2017.
I was looking for Langematik Anniversary a while and noticed that Antiquorum 14th May 2017 auction has one, I tried to bid on that night as it was my first time to bid in Antiquorum. I had placed a bid hopefully I will be the lucky winner but seems I lost finally. However, I got the receipt next day from Antiquorum and the receipt has stated Langematik Anniversary in it and ask for payment. I made a call to Antiquorum office plus e-mail to Antiquorum Geneva to confirm my status. Reply from Antiquorum was that I won that lot and I should pay on time. After, I wired my fund to Antiqourum Geneva after with that double e-mail and voice call confirmations. Day after, Antiquorum has called me about whether I have interest selling the same Langematik Anniversary to a potential buyer plus a premium for me. As I am not a watch trader and I have paid the watch already, I want to keep the watch and so I just wait for the shipment. After, Antiquorum has sent me a mail mentioned that the watch does not belong to me now and belongs to another winner. I am shocked as I have called Antiquorum plus have email to confirm my status before money transferred to their Geneva account, technically as I had completed my payment part, I am the owner of the watch. Antiquorum has sent me a revised invoice taking the Langematik Anniversary out from the list and said that the watch is not mine. I have mentioned to them that they must make mistake cos I got double confirmations both through phone plus e-mail. A guy at Antiquorum kept saying that I should aware that the watch is not mine, etc and when I asked for escalation to senior level, he said he is the MD and he updated me that there is a clause in the terms and conditions that auctioneer has the absolute full right to determine who is the winner, and I feel there is no use to complain as I lost the watch again!
As I have no trust on Antiquorum anymore, I need to get my money back from them ASAP as both the watch and my money are with them. Luckily after three days, I got my money back but I did have losses in FX!
I just want to update all Watch Prosite buddies here to stay away from that auction house as they are not honor to what they have said. Nico's worse experience plus mine can be cited as examples about whether this auction house has any credit. They are focusing on people paying for their high commission only without honor their committed words.
I don't blame on people making mistake cos no one is perfect, while I just want to alert people staying away from this auction house cos after you won the lot and money paid, you are definitely not protected cos their rules are only protecting them.
Regretted that I needed to share my bad experience about this auction house to you all, just a reminder to all watch collectors to aware of this auction house!
