Big congrats to you! I'm not a huge fan of Honey Gold, but I am a huge fan of Lange...
As an owner of a Honey Gold Lange timepiece, I can't say I'm a big fan of being a member of the honey gold club. It's not a beautiful shade of gold, I find it too pale. It's not rich and warm like the typical yellow or rose gold. It's also not cool nor calm like a white gold piece. I look a bit better after spending some time on the beach with a tan. But! It's still a great looking watch no matter what! Congrats on getting this awesome timepiece!

The HG is a hard one to really capture.
You’ll see even from my picture and houstonian’s original picture it’s showing up differently.
The HG is really the perfect metal.
A little bit special, being non white, but very subtle. I would still love to add an older yellow gold Lange 1, but that aside I don’t think I could best HG in terms of coloured metals.

Different shade of HG
The 1815 Moonphase seems to have a different type of HG as compared with the 1815 200th Anniversary and new 1815 Thin: over time, the earlier HG turns closer to yellow gold, whereas the latter models seem to maintain their paleness.
