Dear erhm!
Thank you very much for your detailed, thoughtful answer. That is really too kind and helps me a lot. Your impressions are more helpful than most of the jounalistic reviews I have read.
It is hard for me to accept issues and failures upon purchase. "We are all humans. and humans make mistakes. We are so sorry!" Ok. This sounds understandable and pleasant. And that's what a sales person told a friend of mine, when his Euro 120.000
Perpetual Calendar stopped over midnight less than 10 hours after purchase and had to go for a repair. My friend waited humbly without complaining and was very happy to receive his flawlessly working watch almost 4 months later.
For me it is hard to accept, that you have to wait for a repair when you have just spent a fortune on a new watch and your money is not refunded immediately or the watch changed for a flawless one.
I share your opinion regarding the ZW date. For me it is the most practical ZW reference (longer power reserve, changing of the ones digit, pusher for the hours etc.). The for me perfect variant would be the technical improvements of the ZW Date combined with the "classic" dial of the first generation.
I can feel how you love your collection. And this is fully understandable.
Thank you again, and wear your ZWs with pride, joy and in best health
Thomas
