HUGE CONGRATS!! I also have a Langematik Grossdatum, in Rose Gold and I love it to bits! A pity it is one of the most overlooked Langes!!
The Langematik line (now succeeded by the new Saxonia line) was the only line that had the beautifully engraved automatic micro rotor!
I love with that Teutonic design and the smaller case, it dresses-up as well as it dresses-down! In fact, I like it even more than the Saxonia automatic that replaced it!
You may notice under a loupe the concentric circles in the seconds subdial, to show how much detail they have put into the watch!

I did synchronize both watches but i forgot tor wind the Langematik. That´s the reason for the difference in time. ;-) Best wishes! Sascha

Is that true? Is Lange's manual movement more renowned and loved than its auto counter-part? in my eyes definitely no! It depends on your own opinion, on what you want. I think, both movements are top quality and pure Lange. I know a lot of people they do...

37 mm is the perfect size
Hello Xavier, for me the Langematik with 37 mm diameter is the perfect choice. I own some watches with more than 40 mm diameter,but these are mostly sports watches. In my eyes the Langematik is a very elegant watch! Best wishes! Sascha
Langematik and Bauhaus...
To my, PERSONAL !!!, taste it looks very much like a Bauhaus-style watch, like the iconic Junghans Max Bill. The batons are quite long, looks a bit too "spiky" to me ... Just my humble opinion, feelings and perception, and NOTHING more, about this Lange ....
