Looking for my first. Personally, I think you should stick with your initial feelings and go with the RL, or even a RG Saxonia Thin that is pure elegance.
I have never been to keen on the "off-center" Lange 1's, but I do like the Timezone. That said, my very favorite Lange is the Datograph Flyback. As for choice of precious metal, most on this forum seem to favor the whites, but for me, I am very much a Rose Gold type of person (I love the warmth). Rose Gold with Black dial is absolutely my favorite combo. Good luck in your choice. I know it is a very hard process, and best take your time.

I went with the WG silver dial - reason - representative of Saxon/German styling WG is quite subtle, and in my opinion, its got the cool subdued look, exactly what A Lange should be Having lume also helps too
