I don't remember...
I did make this comparison but don't remember what I concluded. I do know that the rhodiums dials that Lange uses on many of its platinum models do vary in sheen from model to model. The pinkish hue that I described on the older PT Langematik Perpetual rhodium dials wasn't really there (or was much less pronounced) on Lange's other rhodium dials. I generally like the brighter silver dials that Lange uses on many of its WG models (like the Saxonia AC) more than I like their rhodium-plated siblings that Lange uses on many of its PT models. This is why I like the looks of the old 36mm 1815 in platinum (206.025) so much -- because Lange (uncharacteristically) used a silver dial rather than a rhodium-plated dial on that watch.
Good description.

I have a friend who also prefers the older matte dial. For me, the newer dial plus the protruding pushbutton is my preferred combination. I have never pushed the button accidentally, nor have I met anyone who has ever pushed it accidentally (or pushed the...

The above post was super interesting to see. Do you happen to know if there are are more than one silber/white dial version of the saxonia calendar? In some pics the dial looks very white and I can't tell if there is another version besides the white silv...
