If I may

The bigger sensor on the 5D by virtue of size gives a thinner DOF which will be counterproductive in macro

photography. Also with a full frame sensor, the 100mm lens is well, 100mm, which necessitates moving the camera closer to the subject, potentially casting a reflection on the watch case.

On the other hand, the 5D sensor had tonnes of resolution and a much better dynamic range! Has bettering metering inbuilt. Much better ISO performance across the entire range. All ingredients for a superb photo such as yours !

Presume u perform focus stack ? Then the sensor size would mean nothing

Great control and mastery of light ! Stunning Jacques, stunning !

Sure made my day ! Thanks !
