If the sliding panel works smoothly and quickly...
...and doesn't look too weird being set slightly below the rest of the dial (as I imagine it has to be in order to move underneath the rest of the dial most of the time), I think this could be an amazing piece for Lange. In platinum it is quite understated and elegant.

Due to the dial shape, an enamel dial would be very complicated.
The segment over the Tourbillon has a width of 1 or 2 mm... Fr.Xavier
I suspected this was the reason for a silver dial.
Also, the moving back and forth of the sliding panel could lead to cracks developing over the lifetime of the watch, I imagine (more quickly than a stationary enamel dial). Regardless, this is a very exciting development. Lange continues to impress me at ...

I think that the Richard Lange watches share in common an objective and not a style. The objective is: chronometry. Look at the 4 RL watches, they all have the same purpose: to be as accurate as possible. That's for me the key point and it is the reason w...
