2 beautiful handwind chronographs
They share a lot of common points: both are handwind watches, both have a 2,5hz caliber, both have a pulsometric scale, both have the same size... but one is swiss while the other one is german. And the differences become obvious, especially in the layout...

No tachymeter writing and other dialistic "noise" on an underspaced-overspaced dial - referring only to the 1815. No opinion on the Montblanc.

Dear Amery, thanks for this new word creation! Dialistic is actually one way the blood preasure goes -- diastolisch in German ! To use it as it as a term here is pretty cool. Also: The Montblanc is a very, very, and once more nice and interesting movement...
The Montblanc is beautiful
the Lange goes without saying... Surprisingly, I prefer the aesthetic of the Miontblanc movement... I like this watch more and more... I thought at first the dial was illegible-looking, but it does not seem to be, really. The gold case works for me, too, ...
Is the Lange chrono movement complicated for the sake of it?
I love the 951 movement, but is it more complex that it needs to be - most other chronos look so simple by comparison.

Grand Feu from the 1858 collection! I read in an article about the MBM 16-29 movement, that is used in the Grand Chrono and if the Vintage Pulsograph that you show has been manufactured to the same standards than rather this Vintage Pulsograph as it is mu...
Well...I always like a 12/24 h dial, but the 1815 is my favorite.

An interesting comparison......
One more difference...the Montblanc is a monopusher..... More romantic ... Both watches are beautiful.... How would you compare the finishing of the two watches? It would be very interesting.... Thanks Cheers
