Oh I’m extremely tempted by Lange, but I’m just waiting for the perfect purchasing opportunity.
I’m limited to platinum and steel (religious reasons preclude gold in all variations) so I’m looking for a gen 1 dato, a Lange 1 darth, and a gen 1 Zeitwerk. One day

I can understand the love for these...They are so nice but as an owner, how do you feel about the 36hr PR for such a grand complication?
I know we can just wind it daily but ... maybe the quick 1-button adjust all feature takes care of all the worries?
Maybe it's just me, just the daily winding is part of the reason why ownership of this is so pleasurable.
It's a nightly ritual for me and I really enjoy the process. My wife can't understand this at all! On the rare occasions where I travel without it, the single button quick set is extremely useful.
A younger me would have had reservations...
but the current me has to update the date EVERY time they wear one of their automatic QPs anyways so not that different. 1 button advancement helps a lot.
The single button is a most useful function.
And given the buttery-smooth pusher, it's a joy to use as well.

I actually like this Pt version the best.. If only it was a tad smaller and thinner, so that my wrist can pull it off
