One thing to remember though....
I guess I have been 'unspoilt' by handling and wearing the old Dato, which it seems is a blessing, hahahaha.... for me, and I guess quite a few others, the new Dato is a standalone watch, when I saw it and fell in love, I didn't have the image of the old one in my head.....

Ramblings from a visit to two new boutiques, sorry no pics
Unfortunately no pics, so not sure why I am writing this, but.... maybe I write it down for myself.... I was in the UAE recently, and had the pleasure to see their two new boutiques in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and the wonderful staff they have working there.....

Old vs. New Dato
For what it's worth, I agree with Nicolas. When the hands are shown at two o'clock, the new Dato looks balanced, but at other times I too find that the top half appears rather "empty". I also prefer the Roman numerals of the original Datograph. And for me...
