if the white gold that is used in a Lange case fades and needs to be treated? Not just in a Lange in particular, but any white gold watch per se. If this is the case how long does it take to fade and is it treated during the servicing of the watch? Thanks... 

G'day, all WG models, except some few (mostly ladies) models with diamond settings and/or diamond bracelets, are unplated. Comparing all white gold cases of ALL manufacturers would need to know ALL WG alloys being used (as well as some scientific input); ... 

...the white gold in my Lange will change color. Is this the same case in the platinum metal as well? Scott
