I always enjoy strapping on the 1815 Thin Honeygold as it is such a calming watch. No seconds hand, muted colors and an easy presence on the wrist. It is in some ways the atypical Lange watch given its (relatively) slim profile, lack of heft and lack of c...  

But a question: does the back say that this watch is #"185/175"?

…or rather, I can see what you mean. I think it’s #135, though. It’s back in the vault, so I can’t check.

As you can see above, the case number is 251235, and so the limitation number is x35. Years ago I saw that the case number of Lange watches is near by my birthday digits and so I asked them if it is possible to assign this number to a Lange watch which I ...

Calming is spot on for this watch. No matter what is happening around me, once I put this on it has an extremely relaxing effect. Medicating by watches anyone? 😉 Have a great weekend! ...

Really lovely to look at. I haven't owned a watch without a second hand and think it might make me anxious to not see something moving! Have you owned others?

...one of my favorite 'old school' watches. Practical with the retrograde date. The hefty Romans are a delight. Great lugs top it off : )

You've named its strong points exactly, but I'll add one more: the crosshatch texture on the dial.
