Horrific that you have to relive your loss again when it appears AQ was just going to focus only on its relationship with the consignor. Nothing at all came out of your provision of the relevant papers to them. Stupid, asinine request (sorry but cant think of better words).
The irony is that AQ lost an opportunity to shine to the watch auction community by demonstrating that they only consign pieces with legitimate provenance. Now, which buyer is going to have confidence that even a full box set at AQ was legally consigned? I wonder if the consignor in your case was even required to show some sort of receipt to AQ or even one with some legitimacy and not a rubber stamped stationery shop receipt?
