Thank you for the Details. One or two questions:
- Is the Odysseus a watch or is it a watch Family (such as Saxonia, 1815, lange 1,...), the "Odysseus datomatic" being the First and possibly leading to other Odysseus watches with different complications?
- Did ALS mention something, whether there will be different dial colours in the future?
As for my First impressions from the picture:
Pros: Case design, bracelet and movement with see-through Rotor (even though I would have preferred a Micro-Rotor at this price point).
No judgement: Details and finishing
Negative: somewhat uninspired Overall dial and the Chosen complication (day-window)
I'm currently Not going for a place in a wait list.

As to the watch itself - I say Nay. The bracelet seems to be heavily based on the IWC pilot's watch bracelet construction-wise (links removal system, clasp) and is not appealing to me aesthetically.
Not sure about that bracelet...
Also surprised there are no models with other complications like power reserve, dual time, etc...

I can see a gold chaton on the ¾ plate near the balance cock bridge.
There may be more under the rotor that’s prevent them from being seen.

Yes more dial options coming, and yes more complications/novelties coming to the odysseus family.

Lange should stick to dress watches.. The case design is basically same as all other langes except this one has cushion edges on one side.. The day-date windows are really kinda eye soring in my opinion oh man 🤦🏻♂️

I removed the cons about the power reserve in my review.
Because in the end I prefer 50 hours with a well set movement than a larger power reserve and a lack of accuracy. But I understand your point since I wrote it before removing it. Fx
Not impressed to be honest
Dial looks good, but the bracelet... even if it's nicely finished, it reminds me of bracelet from much cheaper brands. No originality and design thoughtfulness to it. Sorry... P/S : Ironically, I think the watch will look much better on a leather or rubbe...

It was versatile and gave a good information of the watch. It seems that also Lange started manufacturing steel watches, that is current trend as to comes popularity of the sport watches.
Bracelet looks like from the JLC Master series and the clasp looks like it is also used by Glashütte and IWC.

Good question. Didn‘t come to my mind so far.
Of course, it supposed to be some sort of crown guard i guess, so it‘s one-sided. But iI would also be interested in seeing, how it would look like with something similar on the other side.
OK, I've seen a Video now showing the pushers.
Would still be Interesting to See it with symmetry. Not saying it should be Like that.
These are two pushers for quick setting of day and date.
They might disappear on new iterations of the Odysseus in the future.
Asymmetry, albeit at dial level, is one of Lange’s typical characteristics.
Not sure I see the need to endow the case with surplus bits of metal that serve no function. Doesn’t seem to be an issue on the likes fo the 15710 or the ROOCs, so why should it on the Odysseus?
