i fully agree with you about the white dial/platinum insipid look. i felt the same with the Zeitwerk. they make a beautiful watch in platinum case and them put a monotone dial on it that just blends with the case. it makes no sense. the black dial of the ...

Without a doubt, it is a high quaity time piece in terms of its finish on its case and movement but I personally feel that the layout of the dial is too busy and cramped. Regards Ling

I too agree with your sentiments, regarding the dial colour. It does appear to be more easier to read then the Platinum model. Which is a bonus, because I have always believed, that the dial is not the most easiest to read, especially the leap year indica... 

Btw, did you ever consider the Lange Double Split as another option? Or passed on it because it didn't have the Big Date complication? Cheers, Anthony

A signature piece from a signature brand. I don't believe Philippe Dufour has the exact model; my impression was that he had a normal Datograph without the perpetual complication. Enjoy the watch!
