My AD said the PT Datograph is being discontinued. Is this true or salesmanship? Ed

So i wont be surprised if the Datograph itself follows step. Probably gonna happen soon. Stephen

.. I met Mr. Schmid here (Tokyo) just several days ago. It is true that the production of Datograph has been suspended more than a year. That is just because they had made too many in too high a speed, and ALS had to set aside some production to accomodat...

Let's just say the rumor will become fact in due course. With the new 1815 chrono with enhanced power reserve, the new Dato will sport similar, that much I am willing to bet. But will be a tough act to follow. Best, Horo

After all, due to the lack of the date display, there is more space for a larger mainspring with the 1815 than with the Datograph... We will see... Fx
