hey sir... really sorry for what happened to you... pretty sure you can
somehow sue antiquorum for this as possession and even storing stolen items
knowingly (you got proof that they did after the buyer contacted them) is a crime... i
read a bit about that bona fide purchase and i am pretty sure that this
does not apply in this case as no one purchasing this could be buying that kind of watch without invoice and box without a
doubt...
even the whole thing can be pretty complicated and i might be wrong...
i
would take some legal actions against them and as i have read in this
thread about other people to whom the same thing has happened as well, i
would try to contact them and do some sort of class suit against antiquorum... it is very unprofessional to say the least to purchase that kind of watch without a box and without doing a background check on it (as googling the watch model and the serial number brings up the stlen tread as well!)... i hope they will pay a hefty price for their actions because this is simply not the way a world leading auction house for luxury watches should deal with those kind of things... the should have handed it in to police in my opinion especially after they knew it was stolen... probably even the buyer should have send it to police instead of forwarding to antiquorum...
i wish you the best of luck sir and hope this incredible timepiece will adorn your wrist any time soon...
