Is this just temporary or is the tide changing? Why didn't this collapse happen starting from 2009? The global economy is not in such a bad stage that it would explain alone the changes.
Perhaps fine, insanely priced high end watches are going out of fashion...

That's what they say. I got 10% off from the price of the car, same on equipment. The discount percentage of my Porsche 911 was 15% but that was very exceptional. Both from AD. I'm sure the same will happen with watches. The margins are much bigger there ...

I was in Taipei about two months ago and the AD has a Daytona SS in stock, which hasn't happen in the past ten years. Yet they still demand a premium on that in stock watch. Love that watch but I work too hard for my money.
As Kari says, the margins for profit are large so they should give a good discount
If I didn't have to work for my money, I might pay the full price but as it is I find it hard to justify letting go of my hard earned cash so easily.
