The new one looks bigger but there is a trick
There is only 0,5mm of difference (39 vs 39,5) but this is not the key point.
The idea when creating the new chronograph was to make it purer.
The different layers of the dial were reduced. The new dial is almost flat.
The pulsometric scale was removed.
The dial opening is much larger
The result is that with almost the same case diameter the new watch looks much larger. Here is the trick!

It is a quite unique watch as this black dial/RG is not commun and feels like "old times". But I guess I would also choose the WG version as it would last longer, for my taste. However, for someone who is sensible to this combo it must be an unforgettable...
