This should make you feel better: I received a mass-distributed email today from Lange today with the prices prominently displayed.
Lange boutiques are no different from other brand boutiques. They have fixed price lists. So it is false to say that Lange charges "whatever they want based upon your face and orgin" unless you're talking about the "face and origin" of the watch, not the customer.
That being said, these are not cheap!

😁 Glad that they quoted prices for the four releases. Upon release on some famous watch news websites, they did not have any for the platinum models. I did not say that ALS or any other brand preferring to put POA or price upon request

Has never really been about the materials, moreso manufacturered scarcity. If the onyx provides a unique effect, then that manufactured scarcity is definitely there - but it doesn't look all the different from a regular black dial at least from the photos...
