I just removed mine, warm on the wrist, because I need to go to bed - immediately.
But tomorrow I will wake up to your pictures and move the RL 23 hours ahead to standard time - no calender to get in the way.
Turning the hands forward is the recommended way for many watches, certainly the more complicated ones. I will treat this the same way as well. So why turn back when you can turn forward? And it is so easy with a watch that shows only the time.
When I wake up, there will be almost thirty watches waiting to be re-set for the dark afternoons here in the German North, including some Sarpanevas - a couple more coming along soon from even more northern Helsinki.
But it will all start with the Richard Lange.
I really love those photos, they bring a quality, a mood that I have only experienced with the watch itself, now resting safely on the table.
So I shall rest as well.
Gute Nacht!
