As to the watch itself - I say Nay. The bracelet seems to be heavily based on the IWC pilot's watch bracelet construction-wise (links removal system, clasp) and is not appealing to me aesthetically.

Also surprised there are no models with other complications like power reserve, dual time, etc...

... my initial feedback on the watch is that I like case, dial and mvmt, not a fan of the bracelet at all. This new Lange should look great on a sporty strap, though. Cheers Henrik

Case and movement all good. The dial is pure ALS, but needs getting used to in the context of the steel sports watch theme. Bracelet and clasp are a design problem and look aesthetically inelegant. Put it on a composite strap and see what happens. I am no...

The watch as well as the strap are not inspiring in my very own opinion though. It's bulky and without brilliant design elements. The movement is on par with the recent entry and medium level movements from Lange, no gold chatons any longer, the engraving...

Yes more dial options coming, and yes more complications/novelties coming to the odysseus family.

Let‘s wait and see which models are coming next.

I've never been a first-mover, and think the best may be yet to come. There is definite promise here!

Lange should stick to dress watches.. The case design is basically same as all other langes except this one has cushion edges on one side.. The day-date windows are really kinda eye soring in my opinion oh man 🤦🏻‍♂️

To speak about the watch. I think I like every single piece or part but I don’t appreciate the mix of all. The bracelet is way too large, I don’t like the overall impression between the bracelet and the case. The dial is cool, but the guichet for the date... 

I need another look - or two - for this watch too really appreciate this watch. Just this week I received the 25 year ALS-catalogue. And I saw lot of very beautiful watch is indeed another road. But like you said, maybe it needs some time to like it, or ... 

I agree with the list of pros: I really enjoy the aesthetic of the watch. I've grown accustomed to something's on steal sport watches that are missing here, I think, my list of cons would include: 1) Not regulated in 6 positions with a better than COSC ga... 

Because in the end I prefer 50 hours with a well set movement than a larger power reserve and a lack of accuracy. But I understand your point since I wrote it before removing it. Fx

Dial looks good, but the bracelet... even if it's nicely finished, it reminds me of bracelet from much cheaper brands. No originality and design thoughtfulness to it. Sorry... P/S : Ironically, I think the watch will look much better on a leather or rubbe...

Alas I am underwhelmed; I can’t get past the unattractive bracelet, and it would defeat the point of a watch like this to wear it without the bracelet.

It was versatile and gave a good information of the watch. It seems that also Lange started manufacturing steel watches, that is current trend as to comes popularity of the sport watches.

Not a Code 11.59 disaster but certainly disappointing compared to my very high expectations. Also who chopped off the left ear of the watch??! I will obviously try to see it in person myself and am willing to be pleasantly surprised. My watch collection s...  

It's a very generic deisgn for a new collection..I am very disappointed...

Of course, it supposed to be some sort of crown guard i guess, so it‘s one-sided. But iI would also be interested in seeing, how it would look like with something similar on the other side.

Not sure I see the need to endow the case with surplus bits of metal that serve no function. Doesn’t seem to be an issue on the likes fo the 15710 or the ROOCs, so why should it on the Odysseus?

It looks like so many other watches that try to look like other watches. Lange, please don’t lose the way.
