A visit to the building is mandatory...
The building is one of the most impressive ever built and something that is truly unique. It will soon lose its luster after the tall building in Dubai is built, but in my opinion the 101 is actually much more technologically impressive.
Keep in mind, the Taipei 101 skyscraper is in an earthquake prone zone and is also subjected to great typhoon/hurricanes. It has many impressive features such as the largest intertia mass dampener, one of the fastest elevators in the world, pressurized elevators, etc. The Burj Khalifa is very impressive but does not require the advents of such technology for its construction and safety. The Burj Khalifa will have faster elevators though, something that I'm impressed with. The Burj Khalifa also "supposedly" cost less to build.
Maybe AP will have a Burj Khalifa watch someday!
