I never had any problems with a rubber bezel. When they age, they do get harder and shiny, as your photos show. But that is a wonderful character in my eyes! Thanks for the photo set.

Yours is really a great example and still in good shape after 18 years. Fantastic. My first AP was a rubber clad RO Offshore with white face. I really liked it since it was my first AP. I haven't noticed them in a while. They were popular a while back and...
